If you’re unsure: The throw blanket is the safer gift. It works regardless of bed size, can be used on the sofa or gaming chair, and costs less. The duvet set makes a stronger statement — but only if you know the recipient’s bed size.
Bed Sizes — A Note Before You Order
We ship across the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy, and our duvet covers are cut to European bed dimensions rather than US ones. That matters: a US Full is around 10 cm narrower than a European double, so American-sized bedding never sits properly on a European inner. Five sizes, covering both British and continental beds:

Double (200 × 200 cm) is the most popular choice across every market we ship to — it fits the standard double bed in most British and continental homes with a generous overlap. The two singles differ by only 5 cm in width, so if your inner is a continental single, choose 140 × 200 cm.

What Makes LUCKI DECO Different — 4K Sublimation Printing
The quality gap between a custom anime blanket and a generic printed alternative comes down to one thing: the printing process.
LUCKI DECO uses 4K sublimation printing — a heat-transfer process where high-resolution dye is transferred directly into the polyester fibres at 200°C. The result is colour that is inside the fabric, not printed on top of it. This is why our blankets don’t peel, crack, or fade with washing.
Here’s what 4K sublimation means for anime character art specifically:
- Fine linework: Hair strands, energy effects, and facial detail at sub-millimetre scale are reproduced accurately — not blurred or aliased as with lower-resolution processes
- Colour gradients: Sky backgrounds, Super Saiyan auras, water-breathing effects — all gradient transitions are smooth at 300+ DPI
- Colour accuracy: Characters look like they do on screen, not like a washed-out approximation
- Washfastness: 40+ washes at 30°C with no visible colour change — tested on the same microfibre specification we use for all products

The Material — 260 GSM Microfibre Polyester
All LUCKI DECO blankets use 260 GSM 100% polyester microfibre. Here’s why this matters:
- 260 GSM (grams per square metre) is the weight specification — heavier than standard (200 GSM), which gives the blanket a substantial, quality feel without being uncomfortably heavy
- Microfibre is the finest polyester weave available for blanket production — smoother surface than fleece, higher print resolution, silky texture against skin
- 100% polyester is required for sublimation printing — cotton and natural fibres can’t hold sublimation dye
- Machine washable at 30°C, gentle cycle. No dry cleaning required.

Which Series Is Right for You?
Not all anime art translates equally well to blanket format. These are the series that work exceptionally well at 150cm × 200cm+ scale:
Demon Slayer
Ufotable’s animation combines traditional character art with CGI backgrounds — the layered detail in Tanjiro’s water-breathing effects, Nezuko’s pink haori pattern, and Zenitsu’s lightning motifs are among the most visually striking on large-format fabric. Delivery
Every order is produced within 3–5 business days and ships standard delivery within 10 business days to UK addresses. We ship from our UK-based partner facility — no international customs delays on UK orders.
Care Instructions
Machine wash at 30°C, gentle cycle. Do not use bleach or fabric softener — both degrade polyester microfibre over time. Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry. Do not wash above 40°C — this temperature can cause the sublimation dye to migrate within the fibres.
Returns
