Choosing a Throw Blanket Size
Every blanket here is a single printed fleece throw — one piece, no pillowcases, no duvet inner needed. That makes it the easier of our two formats to buy as a gift, because you do not need to know anyone’s bed size.
Five sizes, and the right one depends on what it is for:
- 100×130cm — a lap blanket for a chair or a child’s bed. The smallest, and the one where a single-character design reads best because the artwork is not stretched.
- 130×150cm — sofa throw for one adult, or a bed topper on a single bed.
- 150×200cm — the most popular size. Covers an adult on a sofa, drapes properly over a double bed, and gives large artwork room to read.
- 180×200cm and 200×230cm — full bed coverage on a double or king. Choose these when the blanket is the main feature of the room rather than an accessory.
What They Are Made From
260 GSM microfibre polyester, printed by 4K sublimation. The dye turns to gas and bonds inside the fibre rather than sitting on the surface, so there is no printed layer to crack or peel, colours do not fade with washing, and the fabric stays soft rather than developing a stiff printed patch. Machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle.
